Reusable Drone Ground Control Targets for Photogrammetry & 3D Scene Mapping
The Rothbucher RSL510, RSL512, RSL520 and RSL532 are reusable 350 x 350 mm ground control targets for professional drone mapping. Built for repeated field deployment, they give public safety and forensic mapping teams high-contrast reference points for crash reconstruction, crime-scene photogrammetry, facility mapping and other UAS workflows.
Choose the Pattern & Printing Style
RSL510 — Cross, One-Sided
Black-and-white cross pattern printed on one side. A simple reusable option when the target only needs to face the aircraft.
RSL512 — Cross, Double-Sided
Cross pattern printed on both sides. Useful when deployment conditions make it helpful to select the lighter or darker face against the background.
RSL520 — Circle, One-Sided
Black circle pattern printed on one side for teams that prefer a circular visual reference.
RSL532 — Circle, Double-Sided
Circle pattern printed on both sides, including contrasting color treatment, so operators can choose the face that provides stronger visual contrast.
Field-Ready for Public Safety Mapping
Each target is waterproofed and UV resistant, can be secured with tent pegs, and is designed for repeated use. Rothbucher recommends these 350 mm targets for use up to approximately 100 meters, with actual visibility dependent on the camera, weather, altitude and scene conditions.
