MAXSUR is a nationwide provider of surveillance systems restricted to law enforcement, intelligence and defense customers. Systems offered include body worn cameras for patrol, covert audio-video devices for undercover operations and unmanned aerial vehicles for intelligence gathering, rescue and post incident documentation.

At its headquarters in the Austin metro area, MAXSUR provides system integration, equipment repair, law enforcement training and flight training with its thirty-five acre flight area.

The MAXSUR team is led by Steve Klindworth, its CEO and Jake Lahmann, its COO. Combined they hold 52 years of experience in the surveillance industry and are responsible for both techniques and technologies in use today, industry-wide. MAXSUR team members include veterans from law enforcement, military and the unmanned aerial system industry.

Steve Klindworth

Steve Klindworth - CEO

Mr. Klindworth is Maxsur's Chief Executive Officer. Entering the surveillance industry in 1989, Mr. Klindworth founded Supercircuits in Hermosa Beach, California. Focusing on customer service, staying ahead of the technology curve and developing industry specific designs, Supercircuits was recognized by Inc. Magazine as one of the 500 fastest-growing companies in America. Mr. Klindworth introduced many ground breaking products, including miniaturized video cameras and video transmitters that were recognized by the Guinness Book of Records as the smallest in the world.


Mr. Klindworth sold his majority interest in Supercircuits in 2006 and the remaining portion in 2009. Mr. Klindworth has a Master's degree in Communications Management from the Annenberg School of Communications at The University of Southern California and a Bachelor's degree from Washington State University.


 Jake Lahmann

Jake Lahmann - COO

Jake Lahmann serves as the Chief Operations Officer for Maxsur. Jake is an established leader in the surveillance community, and over the past seventeen years has played a major role in the continuous evolution of covert surveillance technology. At Maxsur, among Mr. Lahmann’s responsibilities are product development and technology education for both employees and customers alike. Jake’s expertise in the latest surveillance tools and methods is widely sought after by organizations ranging from the U.S. Military, law enforcement and intelligence agencies. Mr. Lahmann is a contributor to publications such as Law & Order, Police, Law Enforcement Technology Magazine and produces law enforcement-only restricted material found on Maxsur.com

Mr. Lahmann’s industry experience includes serving on the Supercircuits executive team as the Vice President of Technology. With his grip on technology and a vast experience in the law enforcement, intelligence and military community, his role was spearheading the development of new technology via the government sector which constantly demands the latest cutting edge over criminal elements. Despite a down economy, at Supercircuits Mr. Lahmann’s division experienced sequential annual growth from 2007 until his departure in April of 2012.

Mr. Lahmann’s enforcement experience stems from six years serving our nation as a Military Police Officer with the US Army and two years as a member of DTF Grizzly, a southern Californian drug task force. Mr. Lahmann continues to serve in a reserve capacity for a local law enforcement agency. Mr. Lahmann credits his law enforcement background as being the primary ingredient in all of his successful surveillance innovations and tactics.
