Description
Description
Numbered Drone Ground Control Targets for Organized Photogrammetry Workflows
Rothbucher numbered ground markers make it easier to identify and document individual control points across a drone mapping scene. The RSL572-10 family uses individually coded, double-sided targets, while the RSL570-20 and RSL570-30 provide one-sided numbered target sets for additional control-point ranges.
Available Number Ranges
RSL572-10 — Numbers 1–10
Individually marked, double-sided targets with two different codes. Designed for workflows that can use automatic target recognition with compatible software such as Agisoft.
RSL570-20 — Numbers 11–20
One-sided numbered ground markers that extend the control-point range for larger scenes and more complex projects.
RSL570-30 — Numbers 21–30
One-sided numbered ground markers for expanding a project to a third group of ten reference points.
Why Numbered Targets Help in Forensic Mapping
On large scenes, numbered targets can reduce ambiguity between the field layout, GNSS or total-station notes, flight imagery, and the processing project. This is especially useful when teams are working across large intersections, long road segments, campuses, critical infrastructure sites, or scenes with many control and checkpoint locations.
Field Organization
Give every visible target a unique identifier that can be tracked in field notes and processing.
Repeatable Documentation
Make it easier to relate aerial imagery back to measured control points and independent checkpoints.
