At the flick-of-a-switch the SHIELD 21 starts recording with admin selected resolutions of a power saving 480p, 720p resolution with at a ultra-fast 60 frames per second, or the full frame 1080p resolution.

Catering to the demand of the street, the SHIELD 21’s included wide-mouth clip keeps everything securely in place with a tight grip of ten pounds constant force. Thanks to the top mounted mini screen, users can determine all of the core status info at a quick glance. Recording can be set for pre-record, and very importantly for officer privacy…pre-record can be set to mute audio. High resolution photos can be set to be captured one at a time, or a 5 round burst…making the SHIELD 21 perfect for capturing minute details of fast moving activities.

The reinforced polymer chassis of the SHIELD 21 body camera has the same feel, durability and weight-to-strength ratio of many modern firearms. The case design allows for an uninhibited camera view of 140° and full stereo audio recording while maintaining a full IP65 weather resistance. To greater improve durability, the typical viewing screen has been removed, but footage can still be conveniently viewed via a smartphone app.
