ASDG400 Digital Wireless Audio Transcorder System
The Hornet is a compact digital body wire for authorized law-enforcement and government operations. It combines secure live audio transmission with local WAV recording, helping investigative teams monitor an operation in real time while preserving audio onboard if reception is degraded or interrupted.
Mission-Critical Advantages
A live feed supports immediate situational awareness. The onboard recording provides a second layer of protection for the audio record—without forcing an agency to choose between monitoring the operation and documenting it.
Hornet sends live audio to the surveillance team while recording locally to microSD. If RF reception becomes unreliable, the onboard file remains available for post-operation retrieval.
If the external power source is disconnected, a concealed internal battery automatically provides approximately 30 minutes of reserve power to help maintain recording.
The body-worn transcorder uses a low-profile, rounded aluminum enclosure and positive-locking connectors designed for concealed placement and repeat field use.
