A configurable covert utility enclosure designed for professional surveillance operations where a field-ready camera, cellular modem, power interface, and pole-mounting package must blend naturally into utility, infrastructure, campus, roadway, and facility environments.
The GBOX-Silver was developed from real-world agency requirements for a compact, weather-resistant utility-style concealment that can support long-range observation, remote connectivity, and flexible field deployment. Unlike a generic utility box with a camera placed inside, the GBOX-Silver is built as an integrated concealment system with carefully selected viewing windows, ventilation, modem placement, antenna routing, and pole-mounting hardware.
The enclosure is designed to resemble common electrical or utility infrastructure rather than a traditional camera housing, helping it blend into operational environments.
Front and side viewing windows allow the system to be positioned around poles, building approaches, parking areas, alleys, utility corridors, and other locations where camera angle matters.
MAXSUR can configure the camera, modem, antenna, power interface, graphics, and mounting hardware around the customer’s surveillance objective and technical requirements.
The GBOX-Silver viewing windows are designed to provide the right balance between concealment and optical performance. To normal observers, the printed window appears visually opaque and consistent with the selected utility graphic. From inside the enclosure, the camera retains usable visibility through the treated viewing area.
The standard GBOX-Silver configuration can be built around a Microhard 5G/LTE modem and an Axis IP camera platform, giving agencies a strong default architecture for remote surveillance, video access, and field deployment. However, MAXSUR does not lock customers into one camera or modem ecosystem.
The default modem package uses Microhard cellular hardware for compact 5G/LTE connectivity. When needed, MAXSUR can configure the system around agency-preferred modem platforms, carrier requirements, VPN standards, dual-SIM needs, GPS requirements, or existing IT policies.
The default camera package can be based on an Axis IP camera platform, including PTZ or fixed-view options. MAXSUR can also configure alternative camera models to meet agency requirements for optical zoom, low-light performance, ONVIF compatibility, frame rate, analytics, recording, or VMS integration.
Utility-style gray enclosure selected for usable interior depth, field durability, component layout, and the ability to support both front and side viewing windows.
Two NEMA-rated vents support airflow and moisture management inside the housing, helping protect the camera, modem, power supply, and internal electronics.
Low-profile black 4G/5G/GPS antenna option supports modern cellular connectivity without creating an oversized or visually distracting external footprint.
Dual-window design improves placement flexibility by allowing primary forward observation and optional side-view coverage from the same enclosure.
Stainless pole straps and mounting struts support utility-pole deployment, while the custom stabilizing flange helps improve field alignment.
A user-adjustable pressure bolt applies back pressure against the mounting surface, improving stability and allowing slight tilt adjustment of the complete assembly.
A built-in bubble level helps field personnel quickly align the enclosure during installation and redeployment.
External threaded chassis-mount AC power interface with mating power leads supports cleaner field setup and repeatable deployment.
MAXSUR can tune camera, modem, lens opacity, window geometry, cable length, mounting hardware, and printed appearance based on the customer’s intended use.

MAXSUR reviews the intended environment, desired view angles, camera range, power source, connectivity method, and any agency IT or VMS requirements.
Customers may use the standard Microhard and Axis-based configuration, or request alternate components to match internal standards, carrier preferences, or procurement specifications.
MAXSUR balances camera visibility, graphic opacity, interior component diffusion, and exterior realism to fit the operating environment.
The enclosure, camera, modem, antenna, power, ventilation, and mounting hardware are integrated into a complete field-ready package.
