MCEZ4P Covert Pinhole Camera

Easy-Install Covert Pinhole Camera for Analog DVRs and Transmitters

The MCEZ4P is a compact covert pinhole camera designed to make discreet camera installation easier. With its included installation tool, adhesive ring, steel marking ring, and magnetic mounting ring, it helps installers quickly mark, drill, align, and mount the camera behind a concealment surface.

Covert Pinhole Camera Built for Fast, Clean Installation

The MCEZ4P is ideal for custom covert video installations where the camera needs to be hidden behind a surface, panel, object, enclosure, or fixture. The included installation accessories help solve one of the trickiest parts of pinhole camera work: placing the viewing hole exactly where the camera lens needs it.

1

Mark the Viewing Hole

Attach the included adhesive and steel ring to the installation tool, press it against the concealment surface, and remove it to leave a clear reference point for drilling.

2

Drill and Align

The process helps reduce guesswork when drilling the pinhole, making it easier to align the camera behind the concealment without repeated test fitting.

3

Magnetic Mounting

After the pinhole is created, the camera can be attached with the included magnetic ring for a faster, cleaner installation inside compatible concealments.

Why the Installation Method Matters

Covert pinhole cameras are unforgiving. A hole that is slightly off-center, too large, too small, misaligned, or poorly finished can affect image quality and make the concealment look suspicious. The MCEZ4P’s installation approach helps installers place the camera more accurately and keep the concealment cleaner.

Cleaner Concealments

Accurate hole placement helps minimize visible modification to the object or surface being used for the camera concealment.

Faster Field Builds

The included installation tool can reduce time spent marking, testing, removing, and re-aligning the camera during custom covert builds.

Better Camera Alignment

A clean lens-to-hole alignment helps reduce blocked views, edge shadows, reflections, and other common pinhole installation problems.

Analog Video for DVRs, Transmitters, and Covert Systems

The MCEZ4P outputs NTSC analog video for connection to compatible DVRs, transmitters, monitors, and covert video systems. RCA connections are included for standard analog equipment, while a 4-pin output supports integration with compatible MAXSUR micro DVR workflows.

With a wide 5–12VDC input range and a low 45mA current draw, the MCEZ4P is practical for compact power systems, small recorders, field kits, vehicle-based systems, and temporary surveillance installations.

Best Fit Applications

  • Hidden camera installations in objects and fixtures
  • Covert DVR and video transmitter systems
  • Bait vehicle and vehicle burglary investigations
  • Temporary surveillance and field kits
  • Hotel, room, office, and interior surveillance setups
  • Custom analog covert video integrations

Installation Visual

The original MCEZ4P installation sequence shows how the adhesive and ring system helps mark the viewing hole location before the camera is mounted behind the concealment.

Included Installation Tool

The marking tool helps installers position the pinhole opening before final camera placement, which is especially helpful when working with tight concealments or limited access behind the surface.

Installer Notes

  • Test the image and field of view before final mounting.
  • Confirm the pinhole does not clip the image edges.
  • Check for light leakage, reflections, and surface glare.
  • Verify DVR, transmitter, and power compatibility.
  • Make sure the concealment allows service access if needed.
