The TAC940 mobile scouting camera unit provides for excellent remote evidence gathering and remote notification of scene activity. When vehicular or human movement is detected, this unit transmits still images to up to three different mobile numbers and three different email addresses. Simultaneously, the unit records audio & video and provides automatic scene illumination with infrared light. The IR light has an effective range up to 40 feet and the frequency is at 940nM which is truly invisible to the human eye, minimizing detection. Widely used by border enforcement agencies.
This field surveillance camera operates using just 8AA batteries or can be powered externally with any type of 6VDC battery which includes lantern batteries, solar power, AC power supplies, etc. SD car size can be up to 32GB for images, audio, video and firmware updates. For GSM transmission, prepaid or subscribed SIM cards can be used. The MAXSUR team always recommends purchasing SIM cards from corporate owned telecom stores for optimal performance.
