With UC/CI safety in mind, this transmitter comes with an integrated panic button and when triggered, sends an audible pulse tone. Even with the added feature and 300mW of RF output power, this transmitter is easy to conceal with its slim profile of just 0.23 inches. Wireless range is over one mile los using rubber whip antennas and further range can be obtained with high gain antennas. As a standard feature with MAXSUR audio devices, this transmitter uses the proven Knowles brand microphone for high sensitivity and unparalleled audio quality. At 9VDC power consumption is 23mA which translates to 4.5 hours of run time with alkaline batteries. Transmission is NTIA NFM compliant and for large agency orders, frequency can be specified.
